A little bit about us

We have a new baby girl born in May 2024 and a rising 2nd grade little girl. The position would be caring for the newborn only though (not the oldest) in our home Tuesday-Thursday approximately 6:30am-6:30pm starting in late July. We would also want to do introductory trial for a few days in June/early July to make sure it’s a good fit. We are looking for someone who has nanny/childcare experience and a reference(s) from their recent employer/family. We are looking for someone reliable and timely, who communicates well, who loves little kids/babies, who is enthusiastic about creating developmentally appropriate experiences for our baby, and takes initiative to plan out the time spent with her. Other factors include willingness to help with light household tidying such as cleaning dishes or organizing toys, ability/willingness to drive baby to and from appointments and to do occasional pick up/drop off for older child, flexibility to start or stay late in case of emergency or unforeseen circumstances.

A little bit about us

I am a single parent returning to the workforce soon. I have a 6 week old son who is the sweetest little baby and my entire world. I would prefer him to have individualized care over a daycare environment especially while he is still so young. I would like to find someone with adequate experience that is also trustworthy, patient and caring. My only expectation is that he is the focus as I am less concerned about household work or chores. I do have a pet in the home who is also very gentle and timid in nature. This detail was mentioned just in case any one has a phobia, allergies or other concerns regarding pets.
