A little bit about us

We are a warm, fun, and laid back family with an amazingly awesome 1-year-old daughter. Our au pair (who we absolutely adore) must go home in September and though this is our first au pair, it has gone SO well that we now only want to consider live-in childcare. She is truly a part of our family, we all love each other, and she is already planning multiple trips back!
About the job: Au pair responsibilities are childcare and child-related tasks. Emie (current au pair) went above and beyond and helped with all sorts of other things like laundry and cooking (she loves to cook) so we made it official and give her an extra monthly stipend to cover those additional tasks. It's all done on her normal work time so total hours never exceed 45/week. It doesn't matter on that I schedule fewer hours, you get the same pay no matter what! We pay $400/week and you have no living or eating expenses. At the beginning of each week I give you a schedule and I am always willing to work around things if there are certain times you're hoping to be off to do things. If you don't have a car, you are always welcome to borrow.
About the living situation: We have a huge house with backyard and pool and plenty of space to be alone. You have your own room and bathroom. When you're not working you are free to be in your room or anywhere in the house! All food is included (we eat very well)! If you stay with us post Covid, we don't have any rules or curfews and travel a lot all over the world (you would come with us just like our Au pair did)! We go to Europe every summer, go skiing in Sun Valley, spend a lot of time in New York, and plan other trips - traveling is one of our favorite things. During Covid we are pretty strictly staying home so it is a great opportunity to save a lot of money for the right person. You have no rent or food costs and we pay all travel expenses.
For the perfect candidate, we are willing to negotiate to make it work. Tell us why you are our perfect fit!
