I am a young, single first time parent trying to figure things out as I go along. I work with the dangerously criminally insane at in a Psychiatric Hospital in NYC. My job is a mandatory overtime position, meaning if I do NOT have relief I can NOT go home. I work Sunday to Thursday 3pm to 11pm and I often get mandated for the overnight shift 11pm to 7am. Of course on days that I won’t be mandated I’ll be coming home to my child. I literally just need someone to watch my baby.
