A little bit about us

Super friendly, laid back Mom needs morning and afternoon help. I have two school age kiddos in area and am looking for someone who can help them get ready, make breakfast/lunches and get them to school on time. Hours are [phone number hidden] and 3:00-5:00pm but more hours available if desired, but 7:30-10am and school pickup at 4pm for a kiddo on crutches is essential. Car, gas, and/or payment for gas and lots of coffee provided. I would be SO appreciative for the help! If you’d like more hours after school, we are open to that, but it’s not necessary if you have daytime commitments. One child will have drs appointments regularly, but I can work on scheduling those with you. Must generally like pet family members. Please be a good communicator, have a clean driving record, background pass, and be drug free please.

A little bit about us

Alijah is 13 months old and is very active. He loves getting himself into everything, when you turn away for 4 seconds, you better believe he's in something he shouldn't be! His nature is very caring, curious and silly. He loves being applauded, tickled, cuddled (only on his terms of course), laughed with and is a huge snacker!

He is eating solids and will remain eating pre-made meals that I've either made or bought. All you have to do is heat them up and mash them on his tray! He is drinking whole milk, but no more than 10oz a day. That means when he naps he has 2oz taken to his room and no more until his next nap. Snacks are usually yummy pouches, fruit and any fun toddler crunchies we have here.

He is an independent sleeper and has mastered self soothing to sleep. Each nap he takes about 10-35 minutes to go down. We put him in his crib 20 minutes before he should be down. On a good day he takes 2 naps, one at [phone number hidden] until 11-11:30 and another at 2:30-3 until about 4:30. On a not so good day, he'll only have one.

• Alijah will keep you on your toes, and we hope you have lots of energy and imagination to entertain! You're the life of the party :)
• All meals already prepared. Heat and serve!
• Play pen is to only be used when you are needing a rest period (we limit his time in there to ensure he has enough physical activity)
• Story time 2 times while you are here. He loves to walk around while you read, eventually he'll come sit with you when he's ready
• Swing outside in our backyard when it's dry out! It keeps him calm.
• Water table to entertain him (can be brought inside and used with a towel underneath)
Overall: Ultimately we want someone who is fun, can remain calm during stressful times with Alijah and someone we can rely on. We encourage open communication about any needs or issues you may have and will do the same on our end. We value family and authentic communication and always strive to support others in anyway we can.
