Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Start date: Mid-August (ideally August 17)
Please note: This is primarily a school-year position. Because one parent follows the school calendar, childcare needs are typically reduced from early June through early August. Occasional summer hours may be available by mutual agreement.
About Us:
We're an LGBTQ+ family and are looking for someone who is welcoming and affirming. One parent works from home in a separate office; the other is student teaching in the South Fayette School District.
About Our Daughter:
She's a happy, curious little girl who loves books, music, and walks. Born 5 weeks premature, she's thriving and receives in-home PT/OT related to her early arrival and previous hip dysplasia treatment. She also takes a daily reflux medication.
Responsibilities:
• Loving infant care
• Bottles, solids, naps, diapers
• Developmentally appropriate play, reading, music & walks
• Administer daily medication
• Support in-home PT/OT visits
• Baby laundry, bottles & nursery cleanup
• Daily communication
• Minimal screen time
Qualifications:
• Infant experience required (professional nanny experience preferred)
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing)
• Comfortable with medication & PT/OT visits
• Up to date on COVID, flu, & Tdap vaccines
• Non-smoker
• Reliable transportation & valid driver's license
• Excellent references & background check
• Willing to obtain PA child care clearances
Compensation & Benefits:
• $22–28/hour
• Guaranteed school-year hours
• Paid federal holidays plus 5 vacation days & 5 sick days

We are going to be very picky because we want the best for our children. Looking for someone full-time that would be able to handle 2 active children.
