A little bit about us
We're looking to replace our daycare for the two girls with in-home care. That means not just the general care and feeding of our children, but also developmental education e.g. sensory and motor development for Miriam, and the early reading/writing/sciences education for Mollie. Regular outside play is also heavily encouraged including fun and educational outings.
We have a finished basement that's basically a small apartment (minus kitchen) that can be dedicated to just the children.
Hours would be weekdays from 8:30/9am until 5pm.

A little bit about us
We currently have 1 child but will have a second come January.
We also have a very sweet golden retriever, a self-sufficient cat, and hens in the back yard.
My husband and I work nights together with a flexible schedule. Ideally, we would work 2-3 nights in a row per week and would need someone to stay overnight and part of the day between our shifts so we can sleep. You will be able to have time off during the late afternoon/evening in between night shifts after we have slept. We would prefer a 10 nights per month commitment but this may be negotiable. We would need to make the schedule with you a couple months in advance.
We could either pay salary (your pay would be steady rate while hours may fluctuate by week or month although they will never go over your agreed upon total hours) or you can have a fixed hourly rate (paychecks would fluctuate based on number of hours).
Pay can be negotiated--salary, hourly, or hourly day/night differential. Looking at about 30K/year, $15/hr. Of note, the majority of your hours will be overnight sleeping hours, which should make for easier work.
We have a spare room made up for you for now until our guest apartment has completed its current construction.
We may be open to a live-in if you prefer if the arrangement is going well.
Would like to have someone full-time, long-term starting spring. Will do trials this winter to see if it is a good fit for all.
