A little bit about us

We are looking for a second full-time long-term nanny for our four amazing kids. Day-to-day nannying duties would be focused on our three boys, G (8), O (6) & B (18months), & daughter K (3). Older daughter C (17) lives in Texas but will visit once a month & over the holidays.

Standard child care needs: meal times, playing, helping the kids pick up (until they can do it by themselves), naps, dishes, lots of outside time, etc. G & O will be in school full-time five days a week, K & B will go three times a week for half days. We do ask for help with the house & random tasks when the kiddos are asleep or time allows. We would also love someone who can help with date nights and would travel with us! We want to take full advantage of Utah living, so it is important to find someone who loves taking the kiddos outside.

There is a large driving component to this role. You would help drive the kids to and from activities. We do have a vehicle for nannies to use during work for the kids. Experience driving in winter/snow conditions is a must.

G has a rare genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome and participates in various therapies daily. He is non-verbal but definitely knows how to communicate with you. We try to incorporate his therapies into activities throughout the day, so we are looking for someone willing to reinforce those skills or goals. He makes it easy; not only is he THE sweetest, but he is so motivated to do more. We would love someone with an ABA background or experience with Special Education to help with G and potentially help with his care team management in the future (not required).

We are a pretty traditional family: we love big holidays, decorating the house, family game nights, and sit-down family dinners. We don't yell at our kids or spank, and try to make sure their voice is always heard. We rarely do screen time.

We have a very friendly Golden Retreiver and live in Deer Valley. This will be a salaried, contracted position with benefits.
