A little bit about us…

My son is 3 months old, and I’m seeking Monday through Friday daycare. I work at a bank, so care would not be needed on federal holidays or weekends. Some weeks might only need 4 days of care. I live with my parents, and during the day, my mom is at home and able to help with my son. However, she is disabled and can’t manage everything on her own. Assistance with light housework, errands, or cleaning would be greatly appreciated as part of the care arrangement. We are a laid back family and my sweet baby boy is an easy, happy baby! Looking forward to meeting you!

Need a mommy’s helper. Sooo this is not actually a nanny job. My husband and I work from home and need some help a couple days a week resetting the house because of kids. Grocery shopping, wash and fold their clothes, pick up the house and maybe even prep dinner. Need a village and do not have one. Days and times can be flexible but must be before 4pm

We're looking for a nanny for our 8 month old daughter Emersyn. Mom works from home and would like to continue nursing. We're looking for someone with experience caring for very young children who can come to our home. We also have a 3 year old boy (Owen) in daycare. We do have 2 medium size dogs who are very friendly, but we would not expect the nanny to provide any pet care.

A little bit about us…

We are looking for an occasional nanny to care for our son. This would be on an as-needed basis for the occasional weekend work events, date nights, etc. He is 9 months old. He’s a happy, curious and super active little guy who loves people and being outside. While caring for our son we would expect that you will prepare his meals and clean up after him (dishes and laundry).

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Flagstaff, AZ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Flagstaff, AZ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Flagstaff, AZ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
