A little bit about us

Hello! I'm looking for the perfect nanny to care for my babies within our home located in Prescott Valley. I have an 3 year old daughter, as well as two other children (9 year old son and 6 year old daughter) who are in school. Their bus stop is conveniently located at the end of our driveway. Hours of school and bus time are 7:40am-4:10pm so care would only be needed for them before/after school, holidays, and summer.

I am a Registered Nurse that works Thurs-Sat 06:15am-8:15pm (includes drive time). I'm currently looking for a nanny two or three days a week. Job duties would include caring for my 3 year old daughter, light housework, and assistance with homework. Pick up for my two other children from the end of the driveway when getting on and off the bus would be needed, as well.

A little bit about us

I am a teen mom, 16 years of age. I have a 7 month old baby boy. I only need an occasional babysitter for appointments or for days that I am very momed-out (which are very rare). I have three brothers that live in the house with me and my mom. I have three dogs that bark but wouldn’t hurt a fly and will stop after they get to know you. The only expectation I have is to be a very patient, loving, and caring babysitter that will pick up my baby the second he starts crying. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TOLERATE CRY IT OUT METHOD. May need help with his laundry very rarely. I am looking for a sitter that will come into my home.

1-3 days a week for 4-6 hours at a time in my home. No taking the baby in a car. I am looking to get some organization projects finished at my home so I would be home. I know some nannies/babysitters don't prefer that but I promise I would have my headphones in and not helicoptering : ) Really the only responsibilities would be feeding bottles, diapering, tummy time, and trying to keep him happy.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Prescott Valley, AZ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Prescott Valley, AZ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Prescott Valley, AZ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
