A little bit about us

Looking for help with our new son as my husband and I transition back to work. I work from home five days a week and my husband works from home two days a week.

Our ideal nanny would have a background in childcare in a professional setting (daycare, teaching, children’s church, etc.), in addition to an up-to-date CPR certification, vaccines, and drivers license.

We do have a cat and two dogs, so looking for someone who is comfortable with pets! Bonus if you’re an animal lover and are able to play with the dogs/take them on walks.

We are flexible on hours and days of the week for in-home care.

A little bit about us

We’re an easy going family of four, our kids are 2.5 and 6 months old, very sweet, and I’m currently a SAHM. We are a kind and affirming family, believe in science based parenting, and work hard with our kiddos to give them safe, healthy boundaries, but we also have a lot of fun and aren’t super strict on their day to day activities. The baby is nap trained and honestly just a happy vibey dude, the toddler is a toddler but she’s also extremely communicative for her age and a great helper, she mostly just wants to be outside in our backyard all day.

I’ll be returning to work remotely, in a home office, so I’ll be fairly available throughout the day.

We also have a large dog who is great with the kids, but we don’t leave him alone with them just in case—he’s all bark no bite but he’s still a dog, we’d want someone comfortable with larger pups but our house is set up to keep them separate if the toddler is on one and doesn’t want to give him space. We’re working on it. 😂

COVID vaccines required, preferred no cigarette smoke, iced coffee and Diet Coke provided around the clock.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Queen Creek, AZ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Queen Creek, AZ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Queen Creek, AZ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
