A little bit about us

Hi!

We have a 4 month old little girl named Isla. My husband works in construction full time, I’m a speech language pathologist and my schedule is very flexible. We’d only need 1-3 days a week but it would probably be different each week. We also have a dog, he’s big but super friendly!

Thank you!

A little bit about us

My fiancé and I have 1 baby boy, who has just reached 7 months, and will need a nanny for 3-5 days during the work week. We currently don’t have a set schedule since she is just now returning back to work. I myself have a flexible schedule and it fluctuates week to week.

However, we would like to work with someone that will just have to care for our son while we are at work. I know some people ask that multiple tasks be done around the house but really all we need is childcare (feed, light play for development, and put him down for naps).

We are currently thinking to look for someone that is available about 9:30a-4:30p, M-F.

A little bit about us

Hi! I'm Ashlie! I am 28, married, and am surrounded by boys. 2 of those boys, are my own flesh and blood. The Eldest being 8 years old and the smallest being 8 months old. I currently Work from Home full time and am the primary caregiver while my husband works in construction. My 8 year old is in School during my work day (6am-2:30pm MST), so i just need the tiny one to be looked after. I am looking for care between the hours of 9am-2:30pm. I would also like some flexibility with that time as well; I want to be able to pick him up on my last break if I chose, its usually around 12pm MST I can help with picking up as we have a vehicle with 3 row seating. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you

What is an Infant Nanny in Tempe, AZ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Tempe, AZ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
