A little bit about us

Hi Nannies!

I am a first time momma and I will be working from home full time but need a nanny to help me 4-5 hours a day 3-4 days a week. I am currently nursing so I really only need someone to stimulate/play with my baby so he’s not stuck in front of a TV. Then when he’s hungry I can nurse him accordingly and let you get back to your fun! He loves stroller walks, tummy time and his bouncer seats! He is 3 months old and pretty easy to watch! He is a sweet boy and we are flexible with hours! I will be working 9-5 so I just need to keep it within that time line. I do have two boxer dogs but they love people and typically stay out of the way.

A little bit about us

Hi my name is Abi, I have 2 kiddos. A 3 year old son and an 8month old daughter. I work as a teacher in Hillsborough county so I am typically at work Monday - Friday 7:30am -3:30pm. Their dad is going to USF to become a teacher as well so his schedule is not quite as consistent.

We are looking for someone to watch our daughter while Dad goes to school. We are hoping to find someone who is flexible and professional. Someone who has expertise working with infants (changing diapers, making bottles etc). We are excited to see who we meet!

Thank you

A little bit about us

I work overnight shifts and my baby is a busy body. She is cutout of daycare. I need someone to watch her while I get some sleep during the day. I will expect play time and educational times as well. My baby girl is a happy baby, she likes to laugh and play but she is also very smart. I will only need someone to watch her for about 5-6 hours.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Brandon, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Brandon, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Brandon, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
