A little bit about us

I work for the government and have to work 40 hours a week minimum. I work Monday through Friday (except Federal Holidays) in Fort Walton Beach Florida but I live in Crestview Florida. The commute between home and work may be the only cause for me to need slightly more than 40 hours. Due to the set number of hours I work a week I am looking for care with weekly rates similar to the local childcare centers. We have two daughters that we pay before and after school care for of $800.

Care needed will be for our 4 month old baby boy Zachariah. I will drop him off and pick him up (unless he is cared for at our home in which case we do have a pet chihuahua named Nyla).

Need a nanny to help care for our four children. Ideally part-time. My daughter starts kindergarten this year. Help with drop off and pick up will be needed for her. Our oldest son is 2 1/2 and we just welcomed twin boys at the end of July. I work variable hours between 8-6 Monday - Friday with an occasional Saturday. Husband can be home by 4 most days. Lastest would be 5. We also have two small dogs (less than 20 pounds).

A little bit about us

Hello! I am looking for a daytime nanny, preferably 630 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday! We would like someone who has previous experience with 3+ month old care and knowledge to promote a healthy growth environment for our son. Would be willing to pay extra for dinner meal prep and dog walking. While we are pretty flexible, I would prefer to be notified of sleep and eating times (specifically for an app that tracks these things and notifies me of patterns and assists with sleep training when the time comes).

A little bit about us

Hello! My name is Karlie and my husband's name is Jean. We both work full-time and just had our first son named Archer in September! We are looking for a nanny to come to our home starting January of 2022 since I work at home but still need childcare. We also have 2 cats, Chappie and Happy, so being comfortable with pets is important. My husband works a "Panama schedule" so the days needed will be based on his schedule. An example of a work week would be needing Monday, Tuesday, and Friday with the following week needing Wednesday and Thursday and the pattern continues.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Crestview, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Crestview, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Crestview, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
