A little bit about us

Oliver will be 3 months old in February when I will go back to work as a nurse working 12 hr shifts three times a week. My husband works from home but will need morning/afternoon help during the week from 7-3 the days I work. I don’t have a set schedule. My work schedule comes out in 6 week increments so that’s how I would determine what days we will need the help. You would be watching Oliver at our apartment we live on las olas where there are a lot of places to walk to so just fresh air and lots of walks. We do have a large dog , so you would have to be ok with pets :) . Light cleaning for bottles.

A little bit about us

We are expecting a baby boy in end of August/ beginning of September. We will need a full time around January when he is 6 months old. We will need someone Monday-Thursday [phone number hidden] and Fridays [phone number hidden]; my husband usually works from home half of the week and if I don’t have patients scheduled at work I can go in late or leave early most days; this will be an hourly position, generally 30-40 hours/week. No food prep or animal care needed, no driving required; we have two dogs (55-60lbs) who are friendly.

A little bit about us

Hello!

We are looking for a nanny in our area to look after our newborn starting 12/30/24. Her current due date is 9/15/24. She will be approximately 3-3.5months old at this time. We are ok with her being in watched in your home, if you are setup for at home care or if you would like to watch her out of our home. Ideally, we would like a nanny for about 30-35hours per week Monday - Friday. We do have 3 dogs, all very friendly, at our home. They love people & guests! We would not any help with pick up or drop off. We would like to ensure our daughter adheres to her sleep schedule and her feeding schedule as outlined by her dad and I. She will not be on solids or soft foods for awhile, so there would not be any need to help with meal prepping. I will provide all diapers, wipes, baby formula/breastmilk, change of clothes, etc. I work in Deerfield beach Monday - Friday but her dad works out of our home in Fort Lauderdale.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Fort Lauderdale, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Fort Lauderdale, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Fort Lauderdale, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
