A little bit about us

We are a two-mom family looking for a caring, dependable, and experienced nanny to help care for our baby boy. We're hoping to find someone who will become a trusted part of our family and provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment as he grows.

I am a local teacher and my schedule will follow the Manatee County School District calendar, your schedule would as well. That means we wouldn't need coverage on school holidays, breaks, or other days when school is not in session.

My wife is a chiropractor and owns her own practice so some days we may not need someone in the morning or in the afternoon based on her schedule.

We are really looking for someone who is willing to be flexible with our schedules, who isn't dependent on a full time position.

A little bit about us

We are seeking a long-term part-time nanny.

Hello, my name is Juan, and my wife is Kim. We have a toddler who is almost two years old and an infant who is about to join our family. We are looking for someone to help us during the weekdays, usually from 10 AM to 4 PM. Since my wife and I both work remotely, we will always be available to support if needed.

What is an Infant Nanny in Lakewood Ranch, FL

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lakewood Ranch, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
