A little bit about us

We’re looking for someone to take care of our 10 month old son, Monday thru Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm. Duties would include feeding bottles, changing diapers, putting down for naps, engaging and playing during wake windows, feeding snacks and lunch, and helping his development as he grows and changes. I work from home, so we’d like the nanny to care for our son at our home.

A little bit about us

Baby Ocean is currently 6 months old (10/27) and is the sweetest baby ever.

We relocated to the Tampa/St Pete area from the NJ/NYC area and looking for amazing nanny care who specializes in infants and understands breastmilk.

Ideally would want you to have a car and be willing to take Ocean out to enjoy the beautiful weather.

$350 a week is our max budget and we currently aren’t looking for every day care. Ideally 4 days a week, (maybe less) and not very long hours, just looking for someone to help fill in those cracks, but if something change I will update you.

We will conduct interviews to make sure you are the perfect match for our family.

We look forward to hearing from you. :)

A little bit about us

I have an opening 10/19/24 in my nanny share! I must find another full-time family or even two to start by 1/4/2025.
Our nanny is lovely, has experience and does housework. She is so sweet to my 8 month old girl. I live in Old Southeast, DTSP, and I'd love to find a family for the nanny share closeby.
The nanny charges 20/hr for 1 kid or split $25/hr for two, so I've been doing $450/wk salary. I'd be open to three kids and think we could reduce costs to around $350 per family.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in St. Petersburg, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in St. Petersburg, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in St. Petersburg, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
