A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and loving part-time nanny for our 2 children, ages 2 months and 20 months, while we are working (at least one of us works from home each day). Hours would be 2/2:30pm to 6pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, and we’re open to more days, too. Start date can be as early as 5/22, but we are flexible. We hope you will stay with us long-term, but at least through the end of this calendar year.

The day will consist of naps, snacks, and play in our home and backyard, as well as light housekeeping (e.g., tidying up after the kids/any activities, folding kids’ laundry, preparing snacks). We are looking for someone who will provide a safe and nurturing environment for the kids and engage in fun and age-appropriate activities with them. Prior experience with infants and toddlers is a must. Also, fluency in French is a plus, as that’s the kids’ primary language.

We are in Sandy Springs. Please message me if interested. Thanks!

A little bit about us

Hello my name is Celina Forts I am 31 years old and married with 3 beautiful children., I have recently obtained my dream job and I need someone reliable that can watch my children as I enter into my new career. I have tried daycare but right now with my schedule I cant follow the stipulations provided. I work in a corporate location that is an hour away and makes it hard for me to make it without getting a fee from daycare. I would feel more comfortable right now with my children at home . I am willing to negotiate and I really hope you’re interested in watching my kiddos. I have a 6 month year old boy and a 3 year rambunctious little girl that’ll keep anyone laughing and on their toes.,I work from 8 am to 4:30 but with the hour commute it takes me an hour to get home everyday. After training a week from now my schedule will be from 10 am to 7 pm after 3 to 6 months it will be a work from home . I just have to get past this step., if interested please feel free to contact me. Thank you 🙏🏽

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Atlanta, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Atlanta, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Atlanta, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
