A little bit about us

The Wilbourn Family is a family of four we have an older son who's 10 years old but he will be in school during the times the nanny is at our home. But we do have a newborn who needs lots of love and snuggles? he is very calm sleeps pretty well throughout the day and night and only wakes up for feedings and diaper changes.
We need a nanny who's very experienced with newborns who can teach and incorporate tummy time during the day. Also someone who is on time due to my husband & I work schedule we need someone who can be at the house at 5:30am.

The hours will be approximately 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities include light pet care (small dog) and light household cleaning.

A little bit about us

'm a first-time mom (due date is [phone number hidden]) looking for a qualified, patient, caring nanny for looking for a caregiver for my newborn son (1 Child) when he arrives. I'm in my last year of medical school and will be starting residency in 2020.

I will need a caregiver who is willing to be flexible with scheduling. My final schedule is TBD and will vary monthly based on my rotation schedule at the hospital. The majority of my needs will be during the day, but I may need overnight help if I am on-call or have to work a 30-hour shift.

We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping. We do have pets, so please consider that when applying. We require that you have your own car or access to public transportation. Non-smokers only.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Atlanta, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Atlanta, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Atlanta, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
