A little bit about us

We are a happy family of 7, including 5 kids, ages 13, 11, 4, 2, and 7 months. We are laid back, love animals, and spend a lot of our free time traveling.

We are looking for a part-time nanny/personal assistant to come help me juggle all these balls I have in the air! 4 of the 5 kids are in school during the day. The hours would be flexible, so some days you would come watch the baby during the day so I can work and run errands, other days you might come a little later in the afternoon to help shuffle kids around, do homework, and get everyone settled. The position would require very light housekeeping, some cooking, and some errand running. This is part-time starting off, with the possibility of going full-time if we think you’re a good fit for our family. Also included would be some paid travel with us! You MUST have a clean driving record and be willing to submit to a full background check. You also must be CPR certified and have previous experience with positive references.

Again, because this is a part-time position starting off, we are very flexible with the hours and can work around your schedule.

A little bit about us

I have a six month old baby girl and we need a few hours of help. We are hoping for care to come to our home Tuesdays and Thursdays, four hours each morning. This will start January 21st of the new year. I have two large breed dogs (golden retriever and black labrador) they are friendly animals but are not allowed in the nursery where you are more than welcome to be. You will have free range of the home while we are away. We prefer no screens and follow her cues with a schedule so it is quite loose. Please message me if you are interested.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in PT ORANGE, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in PT ORANGE, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in PT ORANGE, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
