A little bit about us

Hello! We have two loving girls under 3. Both my husband and I work in the city and need full time child care during the week. Our girls are outgoing, active and so loving! We need a live-in nanny who can take our 3 year old to school, take care of our one year old during the day and play with both girls in afternoon, as well as prepare dinner in the evening. We currently have a live in nanny who has a private bedroom and bathroom in our beautiful 4,000 sq ft house in new Canaan, CT but unfortunately she is here on a tourist visa and has to leave in November. We can pay $600/week and give room, board, all meals and use of our cars (we have three) as well as use of our country club with the girls. If interested message me!

A little bit about us

Thank you for your interest in our Home Manager / Nanny position.

Lisa and I live in New Canaan, CT with our two boys; Christopher is 10 and is in 5th grade and Matthew is 7 and is in 1st grade. Both are smart, fun, active boys who can be shy when you first meet them but warm up quickly. Lisa is a high school administrator in Armonk, NY who typically leaves the house by 7a and is home by 5p. Sean is a corporate executive who works from a separated office at home when he is not traveling.

We are looking for someone who can help us out around the house and with the kids. The schedule may change from week to week, so we are looking for someone who is flexible. A “typical” schedule would be:

7a-9a: Help get kids ready for school and onto the bus. If someone has a before-school activity, you might need to drive them to school.
2p-4p: Home responsibilities including laundry, ensuring kids’ rooms and playrooms are picked up, wiping down counters, grocery shopping or other errands, or preparing meals.
4p-6p: Get kids off of the bus and ensure they do their afternoon chores. If someone has an after-school activity, you might need to drive them to it or pick them up from it.

There are usually 1 or 2 weekday nights (Mon-Thurs) when you might need to work until 8p and one Friday or Saturday night per week. We would also ask you to work an occasional overnight, for additional pay.

We guarantee 30-40 hours per week, plus at least two weeks of paid vacation. We provide a car when driving the kids.

The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, flexible, safety-minded, and a self-starter.
