A little bit about us
My daughter, Lyla, is very well behaved and intelligent. She thrives in structure and will meet stated expectations with some encouragement. She is easy to get along with, funny, and happy most of the time. Because she is intelligent (and 10), she can be sassy at times but is certainly no "problem child".
Our home has an in-law suite with it's own entrance, washer and dryer, kitchen, bathroom, office and bedroom. It's about 800 square feet in total. There is a door separating it from the rest of the house for privacy and the suite is clean. One parking space in the driveway is included.
Ideally, during the weekdays our nanny would cook breakfast in the morning (done by 7:45ish) so Lyla and I could eat before she gets on the bus, then make dinner and do the dishes at night with dinner being ready at 7:30p. The day would then be open for them to attend school, work, etc. On the weekends breakfast would be about 8:30a and there would be grocery shopping to do. There would also be cleaning to do every other week including laundry (wash, fold, and put away). We would make sure that the house isn't too messy to make cleaning easy. We do have a very friendly dog named Becky, but taking care of her is Lyla's responsibility.
There may occasionally be pick up or drop off needs - perhaps once a month or so.
That's about it to start! We are looking for someone who can spend a couple of years with us. Thanks for reading!
