A little bit about us…

We have a 2 year old and 4.5 year old, who will be starting full day kindergarten in the fall (I hope!). We are looking for someone who is energetic, loves doing crafts, enjoys playing outdoors (even in chilly weather), loves reading to and with kids, can prepare basic simple meals (lunch), can drive the kids to activities and school, and can really run around with them and chase them down at the park! Being willing to incorporate some educational aspects into the day is also important. We have lots of neighbors with young kids so being happy to socialize with their caregivers while the kids all play outdoors during nice weather is also important.

A little bit about us…

I broke my leg and need some temporary support for my autistic four year old.

We need help from 8am-12pm M-F from now (end of September 2023) for 8 weeks while I heal. Care would be at my home in Oak Park, near Madison and Ridgeland

Eleanor is used to a very active lifestyle and is most regulated when she is up and out and about doing things. She is a wonderful kid with higher support needs and high sensory support needs.

This would be a good fit for you if
-you have experience with disabled or neurodivergent(autistic) kids
-you are open to being coached by mom
-you are open to learning about neurodivergent affirming care
-you’re willing to help mom out around the house with tidying, light house work, and random tasks mom can’t execute while temporarily disabled

My friends have helped me raise funds to cover the care for 8 weeks and we budgeted for 20 an hour. I’m a single mom and the primary caretaker of my daughter, Eleanor. I quit my business as a recruiter to look after her this last year before kindergarten and my plans became derailed when I broke my leg.

A little bit about us…

We have three very sweet children who need a long term nanny to help nurture them. Our 7 month old boy is charming and incredibly curious about the world. He admires his 3yo big brother and wants to be in the middle of all the action.

His 3yo big brother is an enthusiastic boy who needs attention and a little bit of structure or his curiosity can sometimes get the best of him. But he's a great child who enjoys learning and playing games.

And then there is our 6yo daughter, who is doing really well in Kindergarten this year. She needs your help after school with a snack and some activities.

A typical day at our house would start at 8 and we'd ask you to help get our 3yo to nursery school. You'd only have the baby until 11:30 when it's time to pick up his big brother, and then lunch time and nap time before the 6yo gets off the bus a little after 3.

Your day ends when we get home at 5.
