A wonderful couple in Plainfield, IL, is seeking a part-time Nanny to join their family long term. One parent works from home often, the candidate must be comfortable with this arrangement. The family’s first child is due August 2021, and the ideal start date is September or November 2021. Flexible for the right fit. Family has two incredibly sweet boxer dogs and encourages pet lovers to apply!
The ideal candidate will be warm, confident, health conscious, and reliable. The family welcomes parent education and the nanny to make recommendations regarding milestones, development, classes, nutrition, and any helpful supplies that would benefit the household.

Nanny Responsibilities:
The baby will be the nanny’s first priority and responsibility. Family appreciates early literacy and wants the child to be read to often, sung to, talked to, cuddled, and introduced to age appropriate experiences as he grows.
Bottle washing and preparation.
Child’s laundry, including sheets once a week.
Tidying toys, disinfecting as needed.
Researching classes and activities to do as the baby gets older.
Daily walks/ visits to the park, weather permitting.
Preparing/ assembling child’s meals and snacks
Feeding, bathing, changing diapers, playing, and offering comfort
Cleaning up after child’s meals and activities
Empty diaper pails and restocking changing tables

Qualifications:
Non smoker/ vaping (this is not negotiable.)
First Aid and CPR certification
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Must have a reliable personal vehicle
Long-term intent!
Must be physically fit
Strong swimmer, family has a pool
Must be willing to be paid via a payroll service
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Must be willing to submit background check
Experience with Baby Led Weaning is a bonus!
Bi-lingual is a bonus!
