MUST have experience with special needs children. We have two young boys in our house, both on the spectrum. This posting is for someone to watch our older boy, who is 10-years-old and non-verbal. You'd be preparing lunch and snacks for him, bathing him, helping him go to the bathroom. There is another girl who watches our younger son; she is great, and will be helping you along the way. Special needs experience is a huge plus. Our household is a very relaxing place to work. Not a lot of rules, very laid back. People enjoy working here and stay for years, often traveling with us, too (though that isn't a requirement). Please do not apply if you can't show up every weekend. Schedule:

Total Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week



Note on School Hours:

Our son attends preschool Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. During these hours, no childcare is required, allowing time for focused household support, such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, and meal prep.



Key Responsibilities:



Childcare Duties:

Daily care of our 2-year-old son, including engaging in age-appropriate play and activities

Morning preparation for preschool (dressing, breakfast, packing)

Occasional school drop-off and pick-up (10-minute walk)

After-school care: playtime, dinner, bath, and bedtime routine



Housekeeping Duties (primarily during school hours):

Daily family laundry (wash, fold, and put away)

General cleaning and upkeep of the home (tidying, vacuuming, dishes, etc.)

Maintaining clean and organized shared spaces and the child’s bedroom/play area

Supporting home organization projects (closets, drawers, etc.)



Meal Support & Errands:

Assisting with family meal preparation and kitchen clean-up

Grocery shopping and household errands as needed
