Looking for Full Time Nanny - Guaranteed 45 hours per week

As of March 23rd we are seeking a full-time nanny for a nanny share of two baby boys who will be 5 months old. Days are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, the location is a 3rd floor walk-up apartment in Brooklyn Heights.

The ideal candidate will be:

warm and loving
5+ years’ experience
proactive and engaging
reliable and open-minded
have excellent references

We are looking for someone who will get down and play and laugh with our boys, support their growth and social development and who communicates well with both parents.

Compensation is $21/hr plus benefits

Responsibilities
Meeting babies’ basic needs: food, diaper, sleep
Actively shape babies’ (sleep) schedules to meet milestone needs
Work with parents to ensure childrens’ growth and social development (suggest toys, proactively shapes learning & development)
Daily walks outside
Fixing babies’ meals (esp. relevant once we start solids)
Washing bottles/dishes that children use
Babies’ laundry
Managing stock of basic baby supplies and letting us know when supplies are getting low before we run out.
Tidy up play areas

Looking for a Nanny Who:

Has a good connection with both babies and parents
Is proactive & creative - has the ability to come up with ideas to educate and engage children
Communicates well with parents (check-ins during the day via Whats’ App group and tracking of food/sleep via apps)
Non-Smoker
Willing to participate in a fingerprint clearance
Offers at least 3 Professional References; including last
First Aid and CPR certified (or willing to be trained: Paid for)
1 Yr commitment
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Is proficient in English
Is reliable, honest, and trustworthy
Has the Physical ability to care for two young children (considering 3rd floor walk-up)
