Schedule: Follows the local school calendar, so time off during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM (during the school year) -- we could be somewhat flexible if you can't do all 5 days.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Mother's Helper to join our family. This role is ideal for someone who loves engaging with young children and enjoys being outdoors in all seasons. You will be responsible for caring for our 2-year-old and 5-year-old, planning and supervising outdoor activities, and occasionally assisting with household errands and tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old during the hours of 9 AM - 3 PM.
- Plan and participate in outdoor activities year-round, ensuring the children's safety and enjoyment.
- Take the children on walks and to nearby parks, library, or outdoor spaces.
- Follow a very light homeschool curriculum if provided (less than 30 mins/day).- Read books with the children
- Occasionally assist with household errands and personal assistant tasks when the mother is available to watch the children.
- Potentially handle drop-offs and pick-ups for children’s activities (a good driving record is required).
- Perform very light household duties and straighten up house prior to end of shift.
- Cooking for the children is optional and can be discussed as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Nanny, Mother’s Helper, or similar role preferred.
- Strong preference for candidates who enjoy and have experience with outdoor activities.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to engage with young children and plan age-appropriate activities.
- Non-smoker.
- Reliable, punctual

There will be occasional days off, that we would let you know about 2 weeks in advance.
