A little bit about us

My schedule varies from week to week. Some days I only work 2 days during the week and other weeks I work 4-5. Sometimes I am on call from home and will be working on the computer and not be able to make dinner and care for Lorelei, other days I am traveling around the state and sometimes I am home by 8:30pm but most nights it is 9:30pm/10pm.

I have a 4 year old daughter with special needs, named Lorelei that I am in need of help with on rotating afternoons and the occasional overnight (probably once a month or once every other month for the overnight.) The general hours will vary from 6pm-9:30pm/10pm with rotating days during the week. This would entail You would have to pick her and my oldest up, drive from my parent's house to my house (about a 5 minute drive.)The evening would require making dinner most nights, light cleaning, entertaining Lorelei, bath, and bedtime routine. I am willing to pay $18 an hour starting after 3 months we can review about a raise.

I also have a 17 year old daughter named Jess who generally cares for herself, but does not drive. She would just need dinner, and can assist with Lorelei when needed, But otherwise, she would need no care. Her sleep is important to her well being, this is why I am looking for outside help.

I get my work schedule 2 months in advance for 8 weeks so I can provide when you will be needed ahead of time. I can offer multiple days as options and you choose 2. This is mostly to help my parents with the long hours I work so am willing to work with the days you would be needed.

CPR and drivers license is a necessity for the job. Preferred to have experience with kids on the spectrum.

Lorelei does already have a lovely Nanny for the morning hours she is unable to do afternoons or weekends as of recent.

A little bit about us

Looking for an energetic, consistent, funny yet serious when needs to be person to care for our children two days a week (Monday/Tuesday) from 8am-4pm in the Schaumburg, Carpentersville, Crystal Lake, Huntley area (but willing to work together in location as we are flexible in where we stay). Ages ranging 14yrs-3yrs. All of our kids are very involved with each other and get along well. Our oldest is very hands on with our toddler. We homeschool, hence the need for the older kiddos. I recently went back to work and need help caring for them part time to accommodate my new work schedule. We live in Central Illinois but my husband and I are contract workers in the northern region of the state where we travel and stay with our kids Monday-Friday (returning home on weekends). Looking for someone to keep them engaged, entertained, intrigued and well taken care of. Duties include taking them outdoors, preparing small meals and snacks, reading books, playing games, etc. We were recently with a wonderful nanny but due to her health and my new schedule it will unfortunately not work anymore (super bummed but any family will be so lucky to have her!!). If you are interested I’d love to share more details!
