We are a warm, busy family seeking a reliable and organized part-time Family Assistant to help with household tasks, morning routines, and light pet care. This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys working in a family home and keeping daily life running smoothly. 4 hours a day can be morning or afternoons or a mix of the two. Can be flexible to fit your schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Daily laundry (wash, fold, and put away)
• Preparing simple, healthy family dinners
• Light kitchen cleanup after cooking
• Morning help getting children ready and out the door for school
• Walking the family dog
• Feeding the cat
• Light tidying related to daily tasks (not deep cleaning)
Requirements:
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working around children and pets
• Able to prepare basic family meals
• Comfortable walking a dog
• Previous family assistant, nanny, or household experience preferred
• Non-smoker
• References required
Nice to Have (Plus):
• Ability to prepare plant-based meals
• Experience working with families and children
• Ability to consistently start at 7:00 AM
Compensation:
• $25/hour
• Guaranteed weekly hours (20 hours/week)
• Paid weekly or biweekly
• Opportunity for a stable, long-term role
