We are looking for a responsible and caring individual to provide after-school care for our 5-year-old daughter. The position is part-time and will involve picking her up from school, taking her to swim, ballet and tennis (all close to school) and caring for her until we return home from work. Our daughter is very well-mannered and loves to play, read, and do arts and crafts.
 
Responsibilities:
• Pick up our daughter from school, take to after school activity, and bring her home safely.
• On Friday we plan occasional play dates or play at the park. When weather is bad, at home engage our daughter in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, playing, and doing arts and crafts.
• Ensure our daughter's safety and well-being at all times.
 
Requirements:
• Prior experience working with children, especially in a similar role as a nanny or sitter.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with both parents and child.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
 
Schedule:
• Monday to Thursday, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Friday 12:00 pm to 5PM.
• More hours available in morning, nights/weekends if interested.
 
Compensation:
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience $20+/hr.
