A little bit about us

Hi! We’re the Mann’s. Caroline is a teacher and Stephen works in finance. Our sweet son, Daniel, will be turning one in November.

We’re looking for part time help starting in September. We are looking for someone with excellent references and who is comfortable with food prep and laundry (all for the baby).

We have one pet - our cat, Goose, who is friendly and mostly keeps to himself. We live in a co-op building a few blocks above Central Park’s west corner.

We are an interracial Christian couple who value kindness, open communication, and reliability.

A little bit about us

I am new to Nanny Lane, and have an infant daughter. I am hoping to start a connection with a nanny that I and my daughter can "grow into." My needs at present are variable--likely 5 hours, mostly Tu/Wed/Th--but may well expand (hours or days) within the next 6mos. I work from home most days, so it’s more about keeping baby soothed & cared for when I have video conference calls or just need to get work done. Responsibilities early on will therefore be straight forward and focused on the baby. Some light assistance with dishes likely as well. Please note that I have a cat, but there are no care tasks that will involve the cat.

A little bit about us

A warm, busy, and highly engaged family in Tribeca is seeking an exceptional long-term weekend nanny for their four children, ages 10, 8, 4.5, and 18 months. This is an ideal opportunity for an energetic, organized nanny who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with multiple age groups, and can bring structure, creativity, and fun to flexible weekends.

The family is looking for someone who will become a consistent, trusted presence in the children’s lives and build meaningful relationships over time. The ideal candidate is proactive and confident planning activities and outings, while remaining flexible and attuned to the needs of both the children and their highly involved parents.

A little bit about us

We have a nearly 3 year old, easy-going and hyper-sociable daughter, Kerry, and big, goofy, very sweet goldendoodle, Hazelnut. As Kerry is becoming more independent and our careers are becoming more demanding, we are looking for a kind, fun-loving person who can support our day-to-day routine and extend the joyfulness we try to bring to our family life every day. We’d love for someone to come to the apartment and take the dog for a walk around 3:30, tidy a little and set up the apartment for the evening, then pick up our daughter from day care at 5 (about a 10 min walk), and bring her home to start her dinner and play with her. Kerry has been in daycare since early days and has also had regular but rotating sitters (4-8 hours per week), but we are ready for a more long-term arrangement. Ideally, we would prefer a few workdays, ie ~3:30-7:30 Tuesday-Thursday, and a few hours on the weekend (time here can be flexible). Weekend hours would include playing and/or cleaning around the house during nap times, though she is always happy to drop naps for extra time at one of the nearby parks or a puzzle. In general, we have always gotten great feedback about Kerry and are a relaxed, midwestern couple who approaches parenting with a sense of humor, and we try to treat anyone entering our home with respect, understanding, and kindness.
