A little bit about us

I have a 3.5 year old son, Séamus. He was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder earlier this year. He will be starting speech and occupational therapy soon but I have not been given an official start date yet. Because of his diagnosis and needs, we have been turned down by every daycare. I need someone to watch him on Fridays 8:30-4:30. His will have therapy Friday mornings (when they eventually start) so hours will change to start at 11:15. He will need to be transported from the facility back home until county transportation is set up. A car seat can be provided if needed. We typically give him lunch between 12:30 and 1:30. We try to have him nap no later than 2:00 but he doesn’t always nap. We have two cats in the home. They are both sweet and will probably keep their distance, at least for a while. You will not be expected to care for them just be sure Séamus is nice to them (he typically is but he has been mean to them in the past)
