Care would involve feeding him and keeping him clean, taking him for walks, and giving him love and attention. We are looking for a caregiver who is attentive, fun, caring, and a clear communicator. We do have two cats, please be aware when considering the position. The start date is ideally asap, and the schedule can be flexible. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Hello! My family and I will be moving to Gig Harbor soon and we are so excited. We have a wonderful 7 month old son that we need someone to look after while we work. I would really just love for someone to play with him, take him for walks, and/or playdates once in a while. Both my husband and I work from home so we will be close by. I still nurse and put him down for naps so looking for someone who can clean or tidy up during down time.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny with open heart and head full of ideas mostly for my 4 year old son, Theodore but sometimes also for our 17 months old daughter, Zoe. They are both funny and curious kids who love to spend time outside and explore our backyard. Zoe loves also books! Theodore loves his swing! He has some special needs (non verbal but learning to use his AAC device, with some delays i other areas). He attends developmental preschool 4 days a week for 2.5h so we would need your help mostly in the afternoon. We have 50h per month of care giving time from DDA that we would like to utilize first. You would have to be willing to go through 5h of paid training and register at Consumer Direct Washington Agency to become an Individual Provider. We know it might sound complicated but it is not and we would support you all the way through. It is just the only way we can utilize hours assigned. We are open to discuss out of pocket additional fee and some additional hours for Zoe, our 17 months old. One of us is always at home, usually both.
Sometimes it takes a moment to gain Theodore’s heart but when that happens he loves deeply!
We also have a basset hound, Mamba who will love you immediately!

A little bit about us

My wife and I recently had our first child, Rylie. As we both think about getting back to work starting in August, we need some help to make sure our little girl is taken care of for a solid chunk of time each day so we can focus.
We are looking for someone to...
- basic care -- feed, change, put down for naps.
- development -- play with her, read to her, support her development.
- basic house care -- mostly laundry, but outside of that, just general tidying up.
