A little bit about us

I'm looking for a live-in nanny for our 3.5 year old daughter. Ideally this person will also be able to handle housekeeping duties, including laundry, putting packages away, cleaning the kitchen etc. The hours will be 8-9 hours a day but the schedule will need to be flexible. Sometimes we will need M-F, sometimes we will need Tues-Sat. The hours may differ too. Sometimes the person would be 9AM-6PM and sometimes it will be 11AM-9PM. They will have their own room and bathroom on the bottom level of the townhome.

A little bit about us

We have 2 beautiful girls who need some extra care. Our 4 year old attends school but we want someone who understands that on certain days she will be home. And our 1 1/2 year old is full of so much energy and is funny, silly and just a blast to be around. We are looking for someone who can work Monday thru Friday that will eventually turn into Monday thru Thursday. The hours will be 7:30-3:30 with some occasional late evenings. We do expect there to be some light housekeeping. We do have a cat but we do not expect anyone to take care of him. He is super friendly though.

A little bit about us

Hi - we are looking for a mother’s helper and nanny for our 2 girls from 11:00AM-8:00PM Monday through Friday. Our younger daughter is in school for 1/2 the day and our older daughter is in school until 3:00PM.

Our nanny should be able to take initiative, know how to use Uber/Lyft, subway and bus. Occasionally it may be earlier or later since our daughters have late afterschool classes.

We are vegetarian and do not eat meat, fish or poultry. Our caregiver does not need to be vegetarian, but we prefer no meat in the house. Thanks.

We had our last nanny for 8 years. Looking for someone who will be part of our family long term with great references.

The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in New York. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. How to Interview for a Nanny Job in New York, NY

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here is a list of some nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What do you think children like best about you?
  • What kind of activities will you do with children this age?
  • How do you handle problems that arise behaviorally and emotionally with kids this age?

Beyond answering questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative.
