Hello Nannies!
I am looking for a dedicated, experienced, fully vaccinated individual to take care of my daughter 2 days a week (8am’ish-5 pm’ish)starting this January. Occasionally a third day will be needed and flexibility would be required as my schedule is preset every 3 months and thus the days of the week we need coverage might shift around a little bit. Weekdays only with opportunity to pick more occasional hours for date nights etc if desired. My daughter will be 6 months old when the gig starts. We live in University Park up by St John’s. We have two small dogs in the home along with cats. Let me know if this would be something you’re interested in!

Temporary Nanny Share with Three Children, St. Johns

We are hiring a full-time nanny for the month of March for a three-family nanny-share with three children: an energetic and expressive 2-year-old boy, a sweet and inquisitive 23-month-old girl, and a delightful 14-month-old girl.

We currently have a full-time nanny, who needs to take family leave for the month of March. Our preference is for someone with experience caring for infants and toddlers, and caring for multiple children at one time.

Hours are from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, and a full 40 hours are guaranteed, unless agreed in advance. Hourly wage depends upon how many children are receiving care: $15 for one child, $18 for two children, and $21 for three children. There are 3 children Mon-Thur and 2 children on Fridays. A 30-minute lunch break will be provided.

The families are following social distancing guidance to limit exposure to Covid-19, and anyone we hire must agree to follow social distancing and maintain open communication about contacts. Covid vaccination is a big plus. The family hosting the nanny-share has two parents working from home.

Responsibilities Include:
Diapering
Putting children down for naps
Preparing bottles
Light meal prep for toddlers
Play and learning activities
Providing outside time every day possible
Recording information about meals, naps, diapers, etc.
Light cleaning (only of kid dishes and kid messes).

Qualifications:
Infant CPR and First Aid Certified, or willingness to earn certification
Able to pass a background check
Reliable and on-time
Non-smoker
Comfortable with pets (one cat)

A little bit about us

Looking for part-time help 4 days a week from 9am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday at our home in north Portland when I am at work. I work out of our home. We’ve found a neighboring family with a 12 month old daughter and we’re hoping to share a nanny. Our daughter Catalina is 19 months old. She loves to be read to and loves going to the park as we have a few within walking distance. We do have one cat and one dog. It’s most important we find the right person and right situation. Anyone with experience with a nanny share would be amazing. Looking forward to meeting you!!
