Full-Time Nanny Needed — San Antonio, TX 78261 — 4 Children

Hi, I'm Amanda. My husband and I are looking for a warm, engaged nanny for our four children: a 5-year-old boy (in kindergarten), a 3-year-old boy, and twin girls turning 1 in September.

Location: San Antonio, TX 78261
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
Start date: September 21st
Pay: $22-26/hour

The role:
• Primary care for our 3-year-old and twin girls while my husband and I work (I work from home; he works outside the home)
• Afternoon pickup and care (~1 hour) for our 5-year-old
• Preparing meals/snacks for the kids
• Planning age-appropriate activities for children
• Supporting nap time for twins
• Tidying/cleaning related to the children's areas/messes

A couple notes about our home: Our house is screen-free during work hours, so we're looking for someone who brings energy and creativity to hands-on play. We have a cuddly, energetic Jack Russell dog which would require you to be comfortable and friendly around him. Our home is also smoke-free.

What we're looking for:
• Genuine love for children and hands-on engagement (not just supervision)
• Responsible, patient, kind, and firm when needed
• 5+ years’ experience caring for children
• Strong multitasker, comfortable with multiple ages at once
• References required
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Must be comfortable with a background check

We will be utilizing MCCYH (Military Childcare in Your Home), a Navy fee assistance program that helps cover the cost of in-home care. Because it's a federal program, it comes with a few additional requirements beyond ours:
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
• Must complete required trainings and paperwork to get set up
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must comply with labor laws and tax regulations

If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out. I'd love to talk with you!
