A little bit about us

About us: I'm looking for a full-time live-in nanny for a 15yr old all year round. We are a military family and I travel often to the mainland and outside the country. The child has two other siblings (boy 13/girl 13) that visit in the summer breaks. We also take most 3 weeks off for winter/Xmas break.

Roles and Responsibilities: When I travel you will be responsible to care for the child while he's not in school and overnight. When I am in town, you will be responsible for the child before/after school. This includes ensuring he attends all necessary school events, any other after school events, and parent approved obligations. The nanny will provide transportation of the child to and from school. The nanny is expected to clean up after the child and themselves daily, but not to conduct deep cleaning. The nanny is expected to prepare dinners for the family unless the parent opts to cook. The family eats breakfast and lunch at school/work.

Hours:
Mon-Fri: 6-7am // no sports 3-9pm // sports days 7-9pm
Sat/Sun: Parent present; as required for school events. Parent not present 2-10pm.

Amenities: The job comes with a full-size bedroom, a furniture set, and a shared bathroom with the child. You will have open access to all shared spaces including a full kitchen. The home is air conditioned.

Compensation: There is a weekly salary of $[phone number hidden] monthly) with free room and board ($1400 Value). The parent will pay for general groceries in the house to feed the family during shared meal periods (Snacks and Dinner).

Outside Employment: I have no objection to the nanny working outside the home during school hours if it doesn't interfere with the primary roles and responsibilities.
