We are beginning a search for a full-time nanny to start sometime in June, 2024. We are looking for someone to care for our 6-month old baby full-time and our 3-year old in the afternoons. We are located in Newton Centre (T accessible), and our son’s preschool is a short walk from our house. We are searching for someone who is reliable, warm, energetic, caring and has infant and toddler experience. The ideal candidate would be interested in a longterm position.
We will offer competitive pay, guaranteed hours (40 per week), paid sick and vacation time. Approximate hours of 8:30am-5:30pm M, Wed-Fri and 8:30am-12:30pm on Tuesdays.

Responsible for diaper changes, feedings, walks, and general care of our infant son. We can host or pick up and drop off if it is nearby.
We prefer no screen time, we will provide bottled milk, limited driving with Luc, and we would like him to spend some time outside.
He is very social and loves to smile and babble at people. He is learning how to eat solids at the moment and he is very tall for his age at 27" after 4 months. He is very active in that he wants to be up and reaching for things, but he cannot walk nor crawl yet, so he gets frustrated if you do not help him get to things he wants to explore. Otherwise he is a pretty happy, laughy, chatty baby.
He is sleep trained and will nap after 5-10min if left in a crib. He falls asleep faster in strollers and car carriers, but generally we have been trying to have consistent nap times in a crib. He usually takes 4 naps a day.
