Responsibilities:
1. Provide attentive and nurturing care to a 7-week-old infant primarily on weekdays from 1 PM to 8 PM.
2. Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for the baby's development during scheduled hours.
3. Feed, burp, and change the baby as needed, adhering to established routines.
4. Engage in age-appropriate activities to foster sensory, cognitive, and motor skills development.
5. Monitor the baby's health and well-being, promptly addressing any concerns.
6. Follow any special instructions provided by the parents regarding feeding, nap schedule, or other care preferences.
7. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the baby's belongings, including bottles, diapers, and nursery items.
8. Communicate effectively with parents regarding the baby's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
9. Respect the privacy and independence of the older siblings (14-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl) who may be at home occasionally on weekends.
10. Collaborate with the parents to maintain consistency in parenting strategies and routines.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience caring for infants, preferably with newborn experience.
2. Knowledge of infant care practices, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques.
3. CPR and first aid certification for infants and children (preferred).
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing demeanor.
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Respect for the family's privacy and cultural values.
8. Reliable transportation to and from the job location, including occasional weekend shifts.
