My wife and I live in the city and we have a wonderful 1-year-old daughter. We are seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to help care for her during the weekdays.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and loving care to our daughter, ensuring her safety and well-being at all times
Engage her in age-appropriate activities that promote development (e.g., reading, music, sensory play, outdoor walks)
Prepare and feed meals and snacks
Maintain her nap schedule and bedtime routines as needed
Handle diapering and basic hygiene
Keep her play and eating areas clean and tidy
Light housekeeping related to the child (e.g., laundry, toy organization)
Qualifications:
Prior experience caring for infants/toddlers
Non-smoker
Trustworthy, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with children
Comfortable with light household tasks
Details:
Location: Midtown
Schedule: MON - FRI 11 - 7pm (Flexible)
Compensation: $25 / Hour + yearly bonus
Start date: July 1, 2025

Schedule:
Monday to Friday:
Morning shift: 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Evening shift: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Wednesday Additional Evening:
8:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Saturday:
Evening shift: 5:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Total Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Note on School Hours:
Our son attends preschool Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. During these hours, no childcare is required, allowing time for focused household support, such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, and meal prep.
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:
Daily care of our 2-year-old son, including engaging in age-appropriate play and activities
Morning preparation for preschool (dressing, breakfast, packing)
Occasional school drop-off and pick-up (10-minute walk)
After-school care: playtime, dinner, bath, and bedtime routine
Housekeeping Duties (primarily during school hours):
Daily family laundry (wash, fold, and put away)
General cleaning and upkeep of the home (tidying, vacuuming, dishes, etc.)
Maintaining clean and organized shared spaces and the child’s bedroom/play area
Supporting home organization projects (closets, drawers, etc.)
Meal Support & Errands:
Assisting with family meal preparation and kitchen clean-up
Grocery shopping and household errands as needed
