A little bit about us…
Looking for an energetic, fun, and engaging nanny for my 7 year old daughter. She is extremely strong-willed, witty, and always on the go. She loves her friends and uninterrupted play time, as well as books, crafts, swimming, riding bikes, and really anything at all!
Job is for Monday through Friday and duties include: 7 am arrival at our home to support transition to school and 8 am school drop off in Gunbarrel; 3 pm school pick-up, engage in an after school activity, help with homework completion, and prepare dinner. In between school drop off and pick-up, run errands, do light house keeping, laundry, and meal prep, as needed.
We are a split family, so Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings are in Lafayette (or Erie, mom is currently building a house). Monday & Tuesday evenings are with mom; Thursday, Friday mornings at dad's in Louisville, and Wednesday & Thursday evenings with dad. Location shifts every-other Friday evening. At times, dad travels for work, so there may be extra mornings/evenings with mom.
Times may need to be flexible for June and July. We travel in July, but will need cat and dog care at that time.
We have done salaried rather than hourly pay with our previous nanny in order to ensure compensation and give job-security if our schedule fluctuates.
Must be okay with cats and dogs.

As of July, our kiddo is 2 mo old. We aren't 100% sure what we will be needing/wanting yet, if it will be nanny share or as needed babysitting to fill in some gaps. I go back to work part time Aug 1 (3 days a week) and then FT back in October. My partner is deciding if she wants to be more stay at home for the first year, and we have to navigate if that is feasible budget wise. Keeping all options open!
Main thing we would look for would be Wed/Fridays probably, mostly babysitting help, maybe some general house help like dishes/laundry. We also have a 1.5yr old "runt of the litter" 65lb Goldendoodle Shadow and she would either be home or at daycare.
