A little bit about us

Hello! I have a 9mo baby boy that I am looking for child care for on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (start time is flexible) until 4-5PM.

He is bottle-fed with formula and eats 3 meals a day - we are doing baby-led weaning but he still prefers purees.

I am looking for a nanny share that takes care of 1 other child already, 2 others at the most.

If dropping him back off at my home is possible I would greatly appreciate the option and can negotiate additional pay for the time and gas.

A little bit about us

My wife is expecting to deliver our identical twin girls in early February of 2024. My wife will be able to stay home until they are 3 months old. I will be able to work from home at least 1 day a week, sometimes 2. So, the hours per week we would look for would be 16-32 hours a week. Very occasionally (and rare) would 40 hours be required. We would honestly prefer someone to come to our home and stay the day. We do have cameras to check in on how things would be going. The nanny would be welcome to tv, Wi-Fi, snacks that we may have. If you like certain quick lunches or meals; we would not have any issue including that on our groceries for you. A little cleaning here and there would go a long way for us. Nothing crazy, but just enough to tame the mess that will inevitably be made. I feel like this role may be perfect for a student at a nearby university whose classes are majority online. There may or may not be a Great Dane that must be taken care of as well. However, we are still figuring that out. Luna (dog) is a sweetheart and truthfully does not require much more than a little attention and food. She’s a big dog. So, she can be clumsy and she can hold her bladder pretty well if for whatever reason you are unable to take her out in time. So, she’s not much to deal with. My wife and I hope that we can find someone here and build a relationship that will carry on with our kids throughout their lives. Thanks!

A little bit about us

Hello!! We are a military family. I'm a first time mother that was blessed with a rainbow baby so I am the definition of the 1st time luvs commercial
mom. I'm a teacher having to return
to work(sad face). Kensleigh is a sweet yet inquisitive bundle of joy that loves playtime, her food!! & Due to my occupation my hours of care needed may not be 40 hrs per week. I would love a nanny that can keep with an active infant. You'll only be required to change, feed & most importantly keep Kensleigh occupied & active. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Look forward to meeting you!!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Jacksonville, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Jacksonville, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Jacksonville, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
