A little bit about us

Looking for someone for regular date night babysitting. Weekly, watching 4 kiddos. The two older ones tend to chill on their tablets when we have a babysitter. So the focus is the 3 yr old and the 1yr old baby. Light housekeeping and meal prepping is a big plus for more hours.

A little bit about us

Hello. My name is shaniqua and I am looking for a part time or maybe occasional sitter for my two kids. I have a 4 month old girl and a 8 year old boy. Both are my pride and joy and they are so sweet and lovable. I’m mainly looking for someone for weekends for now. Someone kind and sweet and caring and reliable and responsible. Definitely have to be CPR certified and have to have own transportation. I do not have any pets. Someone definitely willing to work with two children when I need. My husband and I work so much. We barely have time to ourselves. We just need an occasional breather. I’m new at this but I am easy going and laid back however I am very serious when it comes to my children. I look forward to a beautiful start of a new found working relationship with someone that I can trust and also to be apart our family.

A little bit about us

We're the Robinson family, and we're looking for a warm, experienced nanny to care for our 2-month-old son, Eli. This is a live-out position, starting in September.

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

**Pay:** $18–21/hour depending on experience, paid bi-weekly, with time-and-a-half overtime per federal guidelines.

**What you'd be doing:**
- Giving Eli your full attention and care during the day — feeding, diapering, soothing, naps, tummy time, and getting him outside for walks
- Helping with bottles and/or supporting our breastfeeding routine
- Keeping us in the loop with updates on feeding, sleep, and diapers throughout the day
- Sanitizing bottles/pump parts, doing baby laundry, and keeping his nursery tidy

**What we offer:**
- 5–10 paid vacation days a year
- 5 paid sick days a year
- 6 paid holidays a year
- 40 hours guaranteed

**What we're hoping to find in you:**
- Real experience caring for infants (0–6 months)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- A non-smoker with a valid driver's license
- Someone reliable and communicative — we love photos and updates during the day!
- Two professional references, and you're comfortable with a background check

**A little about our home:** It's just the three of us plus Sargent, our very sweet 2-year-old bloodhound who loves company.

If this sounds like a great fit, we'd love to hear from you! Please send your resume and references — we typically do a paid trial day as part of the process so everyone feels good about the fit before committing.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Orlando, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Orlando, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Orlando, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
