A little bit about us

We are looking for in-home care for our infant beginning March 2nd, about 30 hours/week! If done in a nanny share, we are flexible about hours. Both parents will be working from home but we need supervision of our 4-month-old daughter. Our schedules are somewhat flexible but we're hoping for about 5-7 hours per day, Monday-Friday.

We are looking for someone who is experienced with infants and has their own transportation, as we are about 2 miles from the nearest Metro station. No driving necessary but some light housework support (laundry, cleaning bottles, etc.) would be great.

Our daughter is a charmer who will be about 4 months old at start time in March, and we have a smoke-free and pet-free home!

Seeking a reliable/experienced nanny to watch our 5 month old son, Gabriel, during the week. His brother will usually be attending Montessori but might be home occasionally. We take Covid-19 very seriously due to our children not yet being eligible for a vaccine, so will ask the nanny to provide proof of vaccine/booster (we can provide proof as well if requested). We are both currently working remote from home, but will be on a different level of the house most often. We also have a 4 year old goldendoodle (friendly), so must be comfortable with dogs. A little bit about us

Looking for care a few days a week, I have two girls one is 19 months and one is 3 months. My toddler loves independent time in her room watching videos, and playing with toys. My infant is formula fed and sleeps most of the time. Looking for someone who is ok with a fluctuating schedule and getting paid bi-weekly. My husband will be home on random days so some days I will only need help for about 4 hours while he sleeps, and the days he works I’ll need help from 8-5.
Please only contact if you have your own transportation as I don’t have enough time to pick up and drop off my kids.
We want a nanny that is caring, respectful to us and our kids, and does not give up easily. Please send me a text if interested. [phone number hidden].

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Falls Church, VA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Falls Church, VA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Falls Church, VA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
