A little bit about us

Hi, my husband and I are looking for a sweet, caring and reliable nanny as well as very experienced. We have three beautiful children under the age of 5. We need a nanny who can tidy up, cook lunch and provide snacks and take them outside for fresh air. Our oldest starts school and we need someone to put her on the bus in the morning at 8:15. You will be working from 7:00am until 3/4pm or when my husband gets off work. He works night shift but hours can be long for him. Also, this will be full time position for 3 weeks after the third week we will need an on call nanny for date nights or when I have to go into the office for a couple of hours. Feel free to message me for more details and if you're interested.

A little bit about us

I am an Engineer in Springfield, VA and my husband is a government employee. I am typically out of the house before my husband, who leaves for work around 7am. I get home at 4pm M-F.
I am looking for care for my 8-month-old daughter, Summer at my home. We are a bilingual household and prefer a nanny who can communicate in Spanish. Summer is currently in daycare, but we are looking for another option to give her more personalized care.
We have a dog named Nacho. No walks are required but we will just need our nanny to occasionally open the back door to let him in and out.
No house care or cleaning responsibilities outside of picking up after any activities you do during the day.

A little bit about us

Hello,

We are in search of a mother’s helper/nanny to care for 1 child (newborn). I am returning back to work in September so I am seeking for someone to come to my home and tend to baby while I am working(I work from home). I would also prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping task (when needed).

We would like someone who has their own car, who does not smoke, has no pets due to allergies, and who is CPR certified. As of right now the hours are part time (11a-3p) M-T, however, that may increase/decrease as time goes on.

Thank you and we look forward to meeting you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Triangle, VA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Triangle, VA

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Triangle, VA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
