Warm, caring, and playful individual who enjoys working and laughing with children.
Flexibility-Father travels, and family may ask for extended hours when father is out of town. Flexibility is also needed as parents from time to time need to shift schedules. Notices is always given.
Strong communicator/Proactive-
Punctual-Kids must be picked up and dropped off on time. Both parents work full time and rely on the Nanny to be on time so they can make their work commitments.
Organized
Must be comfortable and like dogs. No care is required except to lock them in their crate if leaving the house, let them out of their crate upon arriving home, and to clean up after them should they have an accident in the house.
Vaccinations up to date including Covid Boosters.
Excellent references.
Background check required.
Responsibilities:
Household Chores including but not limited to
Folding and putting away laundry. The older children can put away their own laundry.
Dishwashing
Cleaning up toys
Wiping down of counters
Cleaning up after the children (toys, activities)
Expectations:
TV and iPad time as a last resort. Keep the children occupied with art and play. Mother is always happy to buy art supplies for planned projects.
Bathing (younger children only)
Comfortable with light cooking, snacks, and starting basic dinner (mac and cheese, quesadillas, pasta).
Helping with minimal homework (children are still young).
Phone: The family prefers that there is focus on the children and that texting is limited to urgent or for communicating with the family.
