A little bit about us
My kiddo (an only child) is a sweet, creative and exuberant 3 year old who is very chatty and able to verbally express needs and wants. Kiddo loves pretend play, our dog (a 9 pound Maltipoo who is very friendly), and playing with building toys. Kiddo sometimes needs a little extra help with transitions, but we have support services in place and kiddo has been very responsive to strategies we employ to help kiddo grow in this area. It will be important that our nanny is able to be consistent with what our goals are for kiddos development especially for this reason. Kiddo is fully potty trained and generally very independent.
We practice positive parenting, utilize elements of self directed learning from Montessori and encourage imaginative play. I am a single mom with a background in education and will be working on my masters (MFA) online while you care for kiddo in our apartment. We have a good sized fully dedicated play room, a big backyard for play and a park and beach in walking distance.
We are a family with some disability concerns that sometimes play a role in day to day life, so a sensitivity to disability is very important for us. Must be up to date with vaccinations, willing to do occasional rapid Covid tests I’ll provide and wear a mask in some situations due to our family health considerations. Light cleaning like doing dishes would be helpful but not required.
Hours will be flexible and can be set together. Looking for 30 hours a week. No driving required, but parking spot in building parking lot available. I’m open to fellow moms bringing kids roughly between the ages of 18 months and 5 years old or older if you homeschool.
Seeking to hire immediately.
Thank you for reading!
