I am a single mom to E, who has autism (level 1). I am a pediatric nurse, working weekend option nights (every Friday & Saturday). I also work as a school nurse and would love to have the option to watch her on days off of school as well. E loves to share her special interests with people. She is artistic & creative, loves to craft, enjoys gardening with plants and veggies, enjoys being read to, and LOVES animals. We live in a quiet and safe family friendly neighborhood with our two small dogs Kiki and Max (both doodles, non-shedding, house & kennel trained).
The time that you will spend with E will be pretty easy & without variance (she thrives on routine): helping her to get ready for bed, making the occasional simple bedtime snack, reading books with her, then getting her to sleep (which she does so easily). She is a sound sleeper, and will sleep through the night. I have a room and bed set up to call your own while with E overnight, and you are welcome to make our house your own while there. The vast majority of your time with E will be spent while she is asleep.
I would love to make our house feel as much like home to you as possible, so please share with me your favorite foods, drinks, snacks etc so that I can stock our fridge and pantry for you as well!
What I am looking for - overnight care in our home every other Friday OR Saturday night (you can choose!) from 6:30pm-7:45am.
I can accommodate the occasional Friday or Saturday night off for you should something come up that you’d like to attend (family or friend event, wedding, etc) so long as you can let me know by Monday the week of. Looking for a nanny that can watch my daughter every other Sunday for approximately 5 hours. We do have one large Anatolian Sheppard so being comfortable with dogs is a must. He is not intrusive and won't jump or lay on you, but can be rather shy till he warms up.
You would likely be putting her to bed which would include typical bath or shower, brushing teeth and hair, and reading a book.
My daughter can be very shy to new people but is quick to warm up so a trial run is necessary.

We have animals, but care for them is not needed. My lady works as a firefighter and is gone every third day. Those days for the 8 hours I’m at work is when I’ll need a nanny. In addition to playing with the kids (taking them to parks, our local waterpark, science city, play dates, etc.) responsibilities would include: helping with daily homework, cleaning dishes/keeping kitchen clean, picking up the house, wash/dry/fold laundry, making meals for the kids for lunch, and making sure they are eating healthy snacks throughout the day.

- Spanish-speaking is preferred. Would love to have the kids learn Spanish and someday be fluent in Spanish.
- CPR and First Aid certified is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to take kids to events around the city. Our oldest doesn't need a car seat, but our daughter still uses one.
- Strong swimmer. We have a pool in our backyard, so knowing how to swim and being able to engage with them while in the pool is a requirement.
