A little bit about us

Looking for nanny to come to Battery Park M-F from 8:30am-4:30pm. Start in September. Father works from home Mondays and Fridays. Her father was born in China, so we would appreciate a Nanny that could speak Mandarin with her. I work in a school so we would not need care during the summer break. We also have a long-haired miniature dachshund that would need to go out for an afternoon walk. When reaching out, please explain what you would expect a typical day to look like for you and our child.

A little bit about us

We have just moved back to New York from Australia. Our baby has the most relaxed temperament ever and feeds and sleeps like a champ, our toddler is hilarious a chatterbox, loves art, singing and dancing (is at school everyday 8:40-2). We love to spend time outdoors learning about the world, doing classes, at the park, and museums.

I work in the fashion industry so work is sporadic/ part time for me. I can be flexible on days and hours I am not working if that works for the nanny. Or we can stick to a general schedule adding in extra hours or swapping a day when I am working.

My husband works late and we have the mornings together so ideally I love help late morning to bedtime. Occasionally I travel for work so those days will request longer and give more days off. Our past nanny loved that she could have mornings to herself, and we can also fill four longer days with an extra day off. We often didn’t get to full time so she loved it! (Sadly she had to move out of state for husbands relocation.)

We have also been using babysitters for some evenings throughout the week/weekend so if you need extra hours this is available to you case by case.

This could be evening hours so we can enjoy a date night, or even overnight if I am travelling or have a late event. Otherwise cars will be covered home.

A lot of the hours will be one child at a time as I have my toddler in school, and I love one on one time with each babe.

We are so excited to find a nanny who aligns with our values and can care for them as we would and become part of the family, work alongside me and ease us into our new life.

We can’t wait to meet you!

A little bit about us

We are looking for an afternoon babysitter/part-time nanny to pick up our two kids from preschool in Inwood at 3 pm and hang out with them until 6 pm.

Responsibilities include taking the kids to a nearby playground, play dates, lessons, or finding something fun to do in the apartment or neighborhood.

The 4 year old M loves art, music, and playing pretend. The almost 2 year old O is a chatterbox who is obsessed with “things that go”. Both kids are incredibly sweet and love to be outside and will require a babysitter who is high energy, creative, loving, and has a sense of humor.

Must be comfortable around large dogs (you won’t need to interact with the dog but you should be ok being around one).

Must be up to date on COVID vaccine (including any recommended boosters).

Must be willing to test for COVID regularly/wear a mask during surges. We in turn will also follow similar precautions to keep you and your family safe.

An ideal candidate would also be willing to work full days when the kids are off from school.

A perfect candidate would be interested in spending the last hour (5-6) helping with dinner prep (this would be instead of childcare if a parent was available to take the kids during this time).
