Basically someone who can pick them up, have fun with them, get dinner going.
We also have 2 sweet pups who would love a walk before pickup.

Looking for someone ideally looking
for a long term position who will become like another member of our family. Also looking for someone who ideally has experience with ADHD or similar behaviors and implementing strong routine, consistency, rewards systems, and positive, firm, communicative discipline. Kids are smart, funny, kind, creative and active, and also require someone with high energy, patience, firmness, strong and clear communication, and redirection skills. Son loves baseball and soccer. Daughter loves gymnastics and dancing, singing.
Mom is a psychologist and currently works from home.
Mondays-Wednesdays 2-8:30pm
Fridays 2-7pm
More hours can be made available for the right fit if needing full time. And while we’re looking for live-out, a live-in position may be made available for someone who is the perfect fit for our family.
Car required for school pick ups in playa vista. We live in North Redondo.

You will not be expected to do the household’s chores or run our errands (unless pertaining to our son.) You also won’t be expected to cook for the household, but there will be snacks for you to help prepare with our son (and of course yourself!) We want our home to be welcoming and inviting as you will become an extension of our family.

Our child has hearing loss, and as such, we are primarily searching for someone fluent in English AND is either fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and / or passionate about the early education and intervention process.
We are expecting them to regularly engage with books, play, conversation, activity, and music.
Another key responsibility will be picking him up from his early intervention preschool, Mon-Wed-Fri at 11:30AM. We have an extra car seat. The family car can also be used.
