The Haig Family
Seattle$20/hr  |  1 kid
We have a just over 3 month old, Maxwell. We're looking for (1) a family wanting to nanny share, and (2) an excellent nanny. We both work full-time, so are looking for a full-time (40 hrs/week) nanny. No car required, but would likely be super helpful. We're fortunate to live in a very walkable area, so that helps. We don't have pets, but have no aversion sharing with a family that does have pets. Re: the nanny, in addition to basic requirements like baby/kid CPR, safety, clean background, etc., we want someone super excited to foster curiosity in Max/both kids, explore places outside the house, and someone who has a natural way with kids. We're not looking for someone just wanting to put in the hours; we want a teacher-mentality with a strong desire to watch and help these kids grow. We both work from home, so whomever takes this on would have to be comfortable having us around the house when we're hosting everyone. We don't plan on being intrusive and actually look forward to giving the nanny + the kids their space, but we will inevitably cross paths and pop in from time to time for a quick snuggle/hug.
